I drove around my neighborhood looking for a tree in bloom that I could paint and also have a safe spot to park my car. This tree was in the perfect spot. When I began to paint, the owner came out and said that they called the tree Ma because it looked like his , recently deceased, mother with her curly short grey hair . I loved that story and so just had to give the painting the title.
