The last two weeks of March have traditionally found me on the beach on Florida's gulf side. This year was anticipated with much need to relax ! I have had three years of pretty much non-stop stress in my life . I finally see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and could just plain do nothing for two weeks . Beach walks, beach books, tiki bar pina coladas , time with my grand kids, and yes, a few sessions of painting. This painting was done while straddling a beach chair, hanging on to my tiny traveling box easel, and fighting the wind. Excited, challenged to paint palm trees blowing in the wind, relaxed, and happy. Deep breaths and finding joy at the beach.
