I love it when Lake Michigan forms a cloud bank that can be seen for miles; looks like a mountain range. The purple clouds and the winter warm skyline beautifully frame the old tree standing sentry in this historic farmstead . You would never know that there are hundreds of houses, subdivisions and a town between here and the lake. A lovely morning painting with Pam.
